Why Biotech and Pharma Industries face Time lag in research ? Share your views with Jwala Sivaccumar.

In current trends, many leading biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies are actively looking for collaborations and keen on advancements to give better research innovation, yet secrecy between some research group persist.
These industries are key part of everything today - from agriculture, medicine, supplements, environment etc. Question before a decade exist on how they preserving the source of information? How could they predict their development from initiating point till the successful completion? Due to recent technological advancements and necessity of knowledge source, Bioinformatics (Bio- database) born as a recombinant trait of two separate sector- Biological science + Information technology.

According to my perspective, everyone cannot shine on everything! Instead of activating both wet and analytical software tools in the same atmosphere, it is always better to have a fruitful collaboration – we could name it as an ‘External team work’. If a research organisation is investing millions on scientific discoveries, necessity to concentrate on database development drives lighter.
Creating a software tool, microarray data analysis, custom chip designing etc. requires additional expenses and cause time lag on research. I believe it is better to have a member who is strong in both clinical aspects and bioinformatics tools. But it is not always possible to make it worth all the time if our requirement lies in different perspective with more specificity. Creating a mutual beneficial atmosphere between Wet lab and software tools saves more time, more space and better sharing of technical ideas. We realised that and standing in front of you to serve efficient analysis on creating sequence for Every generation, not just Next generation.

We are acting here as an active Bio-Source Web: Not just ATGC, helping you from A to Z.

Do you possess ‘Hurry Gene?’ – Lets visit ‘Array Gen’ – standing in helical strands for better Innovations.

ArrayGen Technologies stands for AGT, we are looking for Ultimate Collaboration for mutual fulfilment as ATGUC

Jwala : The rewards to an individual firm for doing this properly are potentially immense. The risk of sharing knowledge and data are potentially prejudicial to the revenue stream and profitability, so there is always the balance to be struck between early sharing to come to market sooner, also ecognising first mover advantage) and retaining monopoly rights under patent. Some serious modellers plan the optimal approach for each product through early development and testing stages. The accepted level of advantage to being first mover is millions of USD per week so of course there is an enthusiasm to come to the party early. But if those profit streams are challenged by failed research programmes (and remember there will be many more of them than successes) the companies may not be willing to share those profits.
